CHILDREN LIBRARY DESIGN
The objective of the library is to encourage children to learn through playing and also facilitate the interactions and bonding between people. Therefore, the space is designed to be safe and comfortable for children in order for them to explore and learn freely.

Puzzle works by putting pieces together and represents bonding and teamwork.
By taking the idea of positive and negative space from the puzzle, the intention of the design is to turn the space into a big toy for kids to explore and play with it. Moreover, using continuous line in puzzle as the element to represent the strengthen of bonding between each others.
The space is divided into 3 components, it fits together as a whole piece of puzzle and create a continuous line to represent the bonding.
Reception Counter and Interactive Area
By taking the inspiration from puzzle, the Reception counter height are designed according the height of both children and adults.
Performance Area
The entrance arch of the performance area are the extension of the puzzle. The space can be accommodate around 15 people. Storytelling session and small performance can be held at this place.
Technology Area
The space is designed for children e-learning with the companion of parents. Therefore, the sitting cushions are in different height which are suitable for both.
Parents and Children Area
The space is designed for the interactions between parents and children. Soft textured flooring also allowed them to have a safe space to stay at.
