USS POP UP STORE RETAIL DESIGN

“Diamonds are the girls best friend” song, Hollywood star and Andy Warhol’s Marilyn Monroe series are the legacies that Marilyn Monroe left to us. By taking these legacies as the design elements and transform it into the space. The intention of the pop up store is to pay homage to Marilyn Monroe, letting people to experience the winsome of Marilyn Monroe, also have a glimpse of her personal life.

The Return of a Star

This zone has taken red carpet as the design element, the red carpet starts from the entrance and continue into the store and transform into staircase-like display shelves. The overall design is to create an illusion of upside down. It also bring out the feeling of ceremonious yet fun.

The Diamond Stage

Taking the idea of a diamond, this zone is the reminiscence of her performance. Colour tinted glass to give an ever-changing feeling. The display also designed in different height to represent the stage.

In this zone, visitors will experience what Marilyn Monroe used to have when she was alive.

The Secret Garden

This zone is mainly for showing out a different side of Marilyn Monroe that superstar has interest in gardening and also having tea surrounded by greeneries.
