WOH HUP
BRAND EXPERIENCE GALLERY
To me, the spirit of Woh Hup are harmonious, family, Chinese and continuity. Inspired by Chinese Yin and Yang, which has the meaning of opposite forces may actually be complementary and interconnected to each other to bring harmony and unity. In my design, Yin represents the past of Woh Hup; Yang represents the present of Woh Hup. The curvy line signifies that there is no absolute separations between two opposites. By having that, the spirit of Woh Hup is continuing
to bring out the concept of inheritance.

HUMBLE BEGINNING
In this content of zone 1, visitor will enter a New Bridge Road background setting which was the location of the first Woh Hup noodle shop. At there, they will stand on the founder’s son perspective to witness how his father started Woh Hup. There is the window that allow visitors to open which represents of revealing the spirit behind. Behind the window will have old photos to show Woh Hup history, information board, or screen to show the videos of Woh Hup.
CHALLENGE HOUSE
When the founder’s son wanted to inherit his father business, he met challenges and he has to overcome them. In this house, there are few doors, each of it represents a different challenge. The door were designed in different heights and widths. Therefore, visitors have to lower down their body or turn their body to pass through narrow door. It also represents that they overcome the challenge. However, there is also a door with a wall behind to block their way. So they have to find another way out. Information board and old photos will be paste on the wall inside the house for their knowledge.
ESSENCE OF HARMONY
Visitors will enter a wet market street. There is a lot of ingredients display on the rack. In this market, visitors can actually grab the ingredients to put on the measuring scale beside the bowl. If they match the correct ingredients together. The bowl which represent harmony in chinese will have the sauce image projected on it to show that they have achieve harmony.
TECHNIQUE EXPLORATION
Back then, the founder’s son was using traditional wok and charcoal stove to make the sauce. When visitors hold the spatula, sensor will be activated and it will start to have projection project animation onto the traditional wok to show the process of making sauces. Each wok represents one steps of the process.
QUALITY CHECK OF SAUCES
As the technology is developing, Woh Hup started to use machine to ensure the quality of every bottles of their sauces. At here, visitors will see 2 big sauce bottles with bacteria inside. One is to represent Woh Hup sauce and another one is normal sauce. Once they stand on the platform, sensor will be activated and the voice explanation and animation inside the bottles will start. It aims to let visitors identify the difference between good and bad sauce.
CULINARY ADVENTURES
There is a cooking stove at the middle of the kitchen, with the Woh Hup sauces and cooking pans on it.Once visitors hold the sauce and the pan to activate the sensor. It will start to show the projection of different cooking dishes.
